Chinese Culture

Room 9 has been learning about the Chinese culture. 

We did a little brainstorm about what we already know and here are some of the things we came up with!

We would love to learn more so if you know a lot about this culture let us know some more facts!

Matching Game With Our Buddy Class

Last Friday our buddy class came over to show us a new game that they all made. 

It was all about matching pictures of different objects in the classroom. One picture would have the english word and one would have the Maori word. 

This was so helpful in learning the Maori words for things we use everyday.

Wacky Dress Up Day

On Friday we had a wacky dress up day to raise money for KidsCan and Room 9 looked amazing! 

They all look so awesome!

We even had some cool hairstyles.

Osmo

This week we had a try with the Osmo games. 

We did the word game during our Reading rotations and we all had so much fun!

We can't wait until we get osmo in our classroom again!
